A pull out card for Chelsea's 1st birthday. I think I have something against envelopes! I tend not to incorporate my cards with an envelope unless the card has to be mailed out. For cards that I hand over personally, I prefer not to put in an envelope as I try to embellish the card in such a way that it looks like a small little package/present.
For this card, I have made a pocket using colourful striped pattern paper. I then use three different matching ribbons to go round the pocket. I have also used the DCWV Nursery pattern paper and included a label bearing the birthday girl's name.
This card is mostly in lavender, baby blue colour theme instead of the typical pink (for girls). Trying something different and quite happy with the overall effect since it's pastel colour.
